Superior Wellness
Finding out about the world of work and all the opportunities on offer was the aim, when a group of Year 9 students visited Superior Wellness as part of the made in Chesterfield project.
Students got to see all aspects of the business including logistics, human resources, marketing and finance. The Superior Wellness team were excellent in answering student questions and giving them an insight into both their day to day routines, as well as explaining how they were appointed to their current positions.
Students also got a clear understanding of how the subjects they may choose to study for GCSE are applicable to the world of work, with the company emphasising how being able to speak a second language gives students an edge in the job market. This was emphasised by a member of their team being asked to fly to Barcelona at short notice.
We would like to thank Superior Wellness for making the time and effort they put into allowing our students to partake in the visit, all of them said it had been an enjoyable morning and it had been informative in helping them think about their future career paths.
