The current Year 11 will be the first group of students to sit external examinations for three years. The upcoming trial exams will not only be the first opportunity for students to experience a full exam schedule, but will also provide valuable evidence as to the progress they have made so far.
To this end, please see our Year 11 Trial Exams Timetable below. Predicted Grades can be viewed by students and parents via Go4Schools.
It is imperative that students approach these exams seriously. While we have had assurances from government that exams will run in 2022, we know from last year that the national picture can change quickly, and we would need to use the results of these exams as evidence for a final grade if summer examinations were once again cancelled.
To help students prepare for their trials outside of normal college lessons, we have a schedule of after-college lessons which we hope they can attend – the schedule of which can be seen below. We also have a wide selection of revision guides and materials available to purchase or borrow: students should see Mrs Cheetham in the Library for details.
Please encourage and support students over the coming weeks to make the most of this opportunity to demonstrate their progress. Any questions you may have can be sent via email to email@example.com.
