We have had a good history in this sport over the years and our students were desperate to defend their title as North Derbyshire Rowing Champions at Outwood Newbold this week.
12 schools were competing against each other in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 boys and girls team races.
Springwell won every race they entered, achieving the greatest overall distance, winning the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Trophies and retaining their North Derbyshire Rowing Champions title.
This is the 8th year in a row that we have won the competition. Our students were simply superb and deserve all the credit that is due to them.
