On Wednesday Year 10 students attended the Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Skills & Employability Conference, held at the Speedwell Rooms in Staveley.

The students had the opportunity to listen to some of the issues surrounding skills education and employment, as well as learning about upcoming investment in our local area through the Staveley Town Deal.

The students represented the college by leading a round table discussion on the priorities for the emerging Skills and Employability Framework for Staveley. The students made excellent contributions and made a great impression on local employers, education providers and council representatives in attendance.
