Our Year 7 Home Learning launched this term.
We started off with three whole year group practice sessions in which our students did brilliantly. We then had a trial week where we were able to give feedback to students on their first efforts at home.
On 09.10.25 the first ‘real’ home learning tasks were handed in and the results were stunning. The standard of work was amazing and students could not wait to show staff what they had achieved.
The last week of term is looking to be equally as impressive!
A special mention to Miss Snowden who has been instrumental in the successful launch; Miss Stokes who has provided support in D11 every lunchtime; Mrs Hill who has been brilliant in marking the work and providing guidance for students; Year 7 form tutors who have supported their tutees along the way; and finally to you the parents, for your support as we have got this off the ground.
We look forward to seeing even more great home learning in Term 2 and better understanding in lessons and in memory mornings as a result. Well done Year 7!!!
