A group of Springwell students were invited to participate in a hands-on cookery session at Chesterfield College, as part of the Staveley Eatwell Project.  The aim of the project is to provide Staveley school students with the skills to cook healthy meals at home.

Our students travelled to Chesterfield College where level 3 students in the Hospitality and Catering School taught them how to cook butternut squash soup with sage and croutons. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to have access to a professional kitchen with trained chefs.

We look forward to our next visit as the Project develops.
