On Thursday 16th October we celebrated the current group of Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award recipients.

The 15 students have spent the last year improving a skill, working on their physical health, and volunteering their own time to improve the local community. All students also undertook a 2-day expedition during the summer term, showing off their newly gained map reading, navigation and camping skills. All students will receive a certificate and a badge to show off their commitment. We couldn’t be prouder of this group and the resilience they have shown – hope to see some of them carry on to their silver and gold awards!

We have also recently launched the scheme for the current Year 9s and hope to see the same commitment demonstrated by this year’s group!
