Fifteen dedicated students have successfully completed The Brilliant Club Scholars Programme, marking a significant achievement for themselves. Over the past term, the students have worked closely with a PhD tutor, engaging in university-style learning and developing skills in research, critical thinking and academic writing. Their work was based around “Dementia and Teenage Caregiver Poetry in an Ageing World”. Throughout the course they looked at the impact of dementia in families and how poetry can help us communicate our feelings.
Their hard work culminated in the submission of a final assignment, mirroring the experience of university study. All students demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to high standards, earning well deserved praise form both their PhD tutor and college staff.
Their achievement reflects not only their academic potential but also their readiness to take on future educational challenges. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and look forward to seeing what they accomplish next.
