Students from all TTCT schools came together as one team at Wilsthorpe school to begin their journeys as Ambassadors of Change.
Students were invited to listen to the impressive and very inspirational words of Professor David Olusoga OBE, who is a prominent black historian, writer, journalist and TV presenter. There was also an appearance from the talented poet and designer Tebo Mpanza, who spoke to the young people about raising expectations and aspirations no matter what barriers life throws at them.
Students finished the day with an interactive workshop with Stop Hate UK, which encouraged them to start their journeys to becoming ambassadors within college and to help them understand what it takes to be an up-stander.
